How to use

  • Begin use only once the wound has fully healed and the skin is intact. If you are unsure, check with the team at The Surgery before commencing scar therapy.

  • Scar Balm can be applied once or twice daily and gently massaged into the scar for 3–5 minutes.
  • Scar Tape should be applied to clean, dry skin and worn directly over the scar.
  • Scar Balm and Scar Tape can be alternated as part of your scar-care routine. The frequency can be tailored to your preferences and lifestyle.
  • If using both products together, allow the Scar Balm to fully absorb before applying Scar Tape. This can take up to 6 hours.
  • Continue treatment for a minimum of 12 weeks.
  • For best results, continue scar therapy for up to 12 months as the scar matures.
